WHY WE'RE LOOPERS
During summer bankers' conventions on Mississippi's gulf coast, young Charles Mortimer dreamed of having a boat like those docked at the Broadwater Marina. Years later, he read about America's Great Loop in a flight magazine and the dream returned. This time it came true.

We talked about traveling the world on our first date and realized it was something we both loved. Kay was not keen about living on a boat for a year, but Charles finally won her over. What we do for love...

We look forward to exploring America's waterways the way pioneers, early settlers, and native Americans did. Imagine cruising the Dismal Swamp in Virginia first surveyed by George Washington. Or riding the locks on the Erie Canal in New York almost 200 years after it opened. The Loop is filled with such adventures.

We hope you'll join us on this journey, either virtually or in person. Adventures are always more fun when shared with friends.
